The CSAD AV Store is located on the ground floor of N Block (entrance is via Cardiff School of Art & Design main entrance). The location of the AV store is N0.03.

You can book equipment for collection between 4pm-4:45pm Monday - Thursday & 3pm-4pm on Friday. The AV Store is NOT open over the weekend or on bank holidays. Please see the below section for any updates on availability.

Please be aware that the Technician Demonstrators teach most days between 10am-4pm so may not be available immediately to hand out equipment. In this instance, please return at a later time.

AV trouble shooting & drop in is Wednesday 2-4pm

Announcements

The AV store will be closed for summer from 23rd June 2026. Please ensure you have returned all your equipment by this date. We will reopen late September.

Please take note of our new equipment collection times (see above section). Equipment can be returned any time using the lockers outside the AV store.

The AV store serviced by connect2 is for the booking and use of AV equipment within Cardiff School of Art & Design. If you are not from CSAD and require the use of AV equipment, please use HALO to request equipment, which can then collected from the IT helpdesk.

We have recently updated catergories, equipment names, availability & the locations of spaces and items within connect2 so items or rooms may move or disappear. If you are having trouble locating anything please reach out to us on the above emails and we will endeavour to get back to you.

If you have been inducted to the photography studio, but are unable to located it on connect2, please contact CSAD.avstore@cardiffmet.ac.uk so we can add booking permissions onto your account.
